Summers just around the corner, we can almost taste it, and the legends at Good George managed to bottle up the flavour in an IPA with a little hint of Raglan Roast goodness.
One of the brewers started hanging out at our Hamilton roastery, naturally the mutual curiosity started flowing and he took away some coffee to have a play pairing it with beer. They settled on a custom roasted single origin Ethiopian Sidamo coffee to blend with their flagship IPA. The resulting brew has subtle notes of citrus fruit and lightly roasted coffee paired perfectly with the malt backbone of the IPA.
Raglan Roast Coffee IPA (5.6%) looks light amber and slightly hazy, and has aromas of citrus, roast coffee, and hops. On the palate it's refreshing, bitter, and has a soft malt base. The coffee provides a well balanced bitterness.
